I have been thinking of blogging for a while. I don’t know if any of this is of any interest, but here goes. This blog will touch on things that happen to me, and other things I am interested in. Maybe moments from my life, notes of things I am thinking about and reading, watching or listening to.
I am a teacher/administrator at Suffolk University in Boston. In recent months, after years of being a generalist, some of my ideas are coalescing. Up until now, my answer to the question, “Can you teach…?” has always been, “Yes.” And it still is. In some is itself a skill. I am sure I will go there. Recently though the influence of the Bible and religion on modern literature has moved to the centre of my teaching and my research.
I will talk about music, literature, TV, life in Brookline–a town that is surrounded on three sides by Boston, MA, USA, football (soccer), natural history, politics.
I have other blogs about my research and some of my writing, because it seems they need their own audiences. After a workshop at Suffolk on using Twitter, I thought about having one place where everything comes together. All of these things are my interests. Here goes.

Welcome to the blog-o-sphere, Jeremy! This reminds me I need to start blogging again.
